Офигеть сколько народу погибло и пропало учитывая что произошло всё днем, рядом были другие корабли и береговая охрана.
Holy sh is t!!! I can't imagine how I'd feel seeing that while stood in the bridge 😳
Why everyone in the comment says: Russians, Russia???? Only the language they are speaking is Russian. Company owner is in Ukraine and most of the crew are ukrainian guys!WTF
No way in hell could you get me to captain a 46yr old rusty bucket....This ship should have been decommissioned a decade ago.
Everyone thought it would fine to name it "Edmund Fitzgerald II."
Oil carrier I'm sure
Badly loaded probably greed had a part to play
Огоспади, кто же теперь нам пальмовое масло привезёт
4 people died.. Sad
When i heard they were russian i started to think about them fixing the ship with flextape
Russians like to make it BIGGGGGG problem is... it breaks like a twig.
Alquebrantou.
Το καράβι πρέπει να ήταν πολύ παλιό..δεν εξηγείται με αυτά τα μποφόρ να σπάσει...
Sir, please! Your position is?
And they thought a hinged bow was a good idea.
The Arvin now identifies itself as a reef.
It has no preferred pronouns.
It was towed past the environment.
what was the cargo?
Really Frightening 😨 I Really Hope Everyone Was Okay.
Six died.
Плавают пока не с гниёт...
Mayday my vessel broken and all of its grammar
You hear a mayday come over the radio; " mayday mayday ship broke help me". Like is your ship sinking sir how exactly does a ship just break? Gets on scene, oooohh. Ok i get it, broke.. ok.. damn, ships just break like that now?
Pięknie qrwa pięknie 👌👌👌👌👌
Trust a Russian vessel to be... filthy, as well as falling to pieces. Hopefully this illustrates how bad things are in that unfortunate country. Tragic. Lt.Bligh will be turning over in his grave, what with the state of the deck there. Filth, sir! Filth! 😠🤬😠🤣 🌵🌵🌵♣️🍸😋👍 The Cactus Club, for extra-dry martinis. Or maybe rum, if you would prefer.
..right across the seam. Well done..
Ship was probably over a hundred years old and should have been scrapped.....
Searching for first Titanic comment
Почему такие карыта выпускают в плаванье?
How these rust buckets get insurance is beyond me
Off the coast of North Korea?
The most broken thing here is the captains heart. His ship is gone some crew are dead the memories on that ship can never be replaced. Sad
A real captain goes down with his ship
Captain is dead.
🤮🤮🤮
This is literally..And I mean, literally the first time I’m hearing Russians sounding distressed😂😂😂😂
Mayday mayday my vessel broken Damn
Insurance fraud
My vessel ... BROKEN!
In Soviet Russia, water cuts through ship.
Made in China ¿¿¿
Not enough duct tape. Lesson learned.
*Germans: What are you sinking about?*
The joke still stored in my floppydisk
they should have ballasted the ship with vodka..
"And that's kids is why u never take a long skinny ship head on big waves"
Matos soviétique
Guess we shouldn't have skipped the last 10 inspections
And the sea took another one.
i was amazed everytime when as for help an MAY DAY... even Jan or other month.
Why boat have to be so long
Why they speaking English in Russian accent? Fake.!
Столько англиков тут и комментируют хуйню как будто они все моряки и были в таких ситуациях и знают что, погибли люди и это очень печально и грустно что кто-то потерял близких, один негатив в коментариях всем желаю добра
That’s not supposed to happen...
Thank you Obama.
They should have called CrazyRussianHacker for a lifehack fix, he would repair that ship with a sliced salami.
Introducing the new "Pivot Class" freighter
мда уж.... пздц капитану...не учёл волнение....
it's a shame people had to die...
That's crazy.. wow
This is never supposed to happen. I guess this ship is "made in the UK"
If they still made ships in the UK.
Titanic
I hope captain Chandler is nearby
Houston we have a problem
The video makes it look like they got saved but 4 people died and another 2 were missing.
7 sailors working below deck died and are still missing. may their souls rest in peace.
@Wertani Yassine that makes sense I reckon. It is sad though crazy how something like that could happen and the ship did look like a piece of s*** kind of
@Wertani Yassine they didn't properly sound the alarm either aparrantly, and the ship was in poor condition as well..
@Camas I didn’t say that this was their fault. I just mean that if the rules imply to keep working inside the ship during rough seas, maybe smth wrong with them. I am not marine expert, but logic tells to keep as much people as possible outside closed metal box during bad weather. However, I might be wrong.
@Wolper47 What a foolish thing to say, to imply they were somehow at fault. This was a maritime disaster. Ships at sea face rough seas constantly, yet crews have duty and tasks to perform, else they don't get to keep their jobs. Hindsight is 20/20.
What the hell they were doing below the deck? During that storm i would be on the deck already in wetsuit. Shit-needs-to-be-done under the deck can wait a couple hours
Get the welder on that ASAP.
Love how the ocean seemingly goes flat after that break almost like the waves weren't accidentally. Alot of ships in the area too a mobile wave generator would be a great way to keep ships at bay. Also a mythological super weapon
I thought they are in the middle of nowhere
Anchored within sight of the Turkish coast.
You wouldn't think it by the comedy show in the comments but 6 men lost their lives over this.
After “Yugo” failed in car making... It tried to make ships... Bet you never guess what happened next.. 🤔
You know it’s bad when you can say “may day may day” clear as day... when you have never said “may day, may day” ever in your life...
Keep overloading them boats
This really kind of seems to be cgi?
@Camas TY...that is sad.
Not at all. The ship was old, rusted, and literally broke in an instant. Six men died.
They must have bought that ship from the Somali Craigslist
Should have bought US Steel, not China garbage
Made in china
There were 12 crewmembers on board, including two Russian nationals and 10 Ukrainian seafarers. The initial search was hampered by heavy weather, but six survivors were rescued. The bodies of three more were recovered from the wreck and three crewmembers remain missing.
If they had kramer rubber bladder lining this nevr happen
0:23 - it was at that moment that they knew they were going to have a bad day.
And the Mayday followed instantly.
Stressy moment there
According to Vesselfinder, MV Arvin was built in 1975. That's 46 years ago. It's very old, even for a freighter: average lifespan for a ship of this category is around 25 years. And a ship of this generation was most likely single hulled (the infamous MV Erika tanker was made the same year and was a single hull design)...which doesn't help especially when the ship is a rust bucket. Unfortunately 7 of the crew were killed or are missing :(
The long table bacteriologically ruin because answer resultantly produce afore a nebulous map. troubled, greedy windchime
The ship was Ukrainian.
no1 is fuckng rrspndng to Vessel Broken
Videoyu bir astim karsida konusan türk biri çıktı dedim noluyo
These chinese built flexihull designs...have not 'caught on.'
Can someone explain how this can happen? Ships are built to withstand these kind of waves aren't they?
The seas were rough enough to force the vessel (and others) to anchor near the coast to wait out the storm. But, the owners of the vessel had operated it with gross disregard for maintenance. The ship had recently been condemned upon inspection FOR STRUCTURAL FAILURE IMMINENT. In essence, the old ship had worn down with use and rusted, stress fractured, etc. The cheap bastards who owned it refused to take it out of use and repair it, so they as much as killed those six crewmen who died. The wave action stressed the weak members until they broke. A healthy ship would not have done so.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
"The captain wired in he had water comin' in And the good ship and crew was in peril And later that night when his lights went outta sight Came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"
It was at that exact moment deck hand Sergei had wished he'd got his 25m swimming certificate at school......oopsy.
Dude hasn't done his VHF course, thats not how you send a mayday. Wheres the MMSI info, Vessle type, number of people on baord and Lat/Long.... Might as well just stick his head out of the window and scream help!
Cartoon ship ?
Adam ingilizce konuşuyor bizimkiler zonguldak liman sesimi duyuyor musun diyor malesef ...
And that's what happens when you don't use stalinium for the ship
Had these men sang the sea shanties they would have calmed those high swells!
The front fell off? What happened (a wave hit it) a wave? Is that common (at sea? No chance are 1 in a million) Well what made it sink, (Well in this case the front fell off)
"You're going to need a bigger boat. I mean ANOTHER boat."
Made in Russia .
Maybe long ships should be more flexible with hinged sections to bend under wave pressure
Не нашел родного языка в комментах. Так что я тут
Idiots on board.
Would it be a good idea if ships had flexible joints at various points, so they could bend a bit and not 'crack' ?
I just sawed this boat in half!
46 years old. Have the Turks and Russians never heard of metal fatigue? This is horrible!
You buy a boat on wish and this is the result
